The end of the year speeding towards us

Journal Entry: Fri Nov 27, 2009, 1:55 PM

Conference was terrific, lost quite a bit of weight. Think I'm still losing weight. Not sure about that. Trying to pare down on my possessions. Got a health concern that I'm waiting for test results. That waiting bit is just killing me. Need. To. Know. Like. YESTERDAY! Also giving the journal skins thing a try. Mixed results. Some def need improvement. Whatev. Got bigger fish to fry. Like a bday party to organize and make happen. If only it was cheaper! Or a mind-reader on the committee. That would definitely make it easier.

Anyway, anyone who would like a Christmas card from me, send me a PM with the info. Anyone who would like to send me one, tell me!

Almost seven months, definitely need to change up.

First off, totally bummed that I couldn't make it to Ota. Ex-roommies totally screwed me over in the finances department. I bailed all of us out to keep the roof over our heads cuz they mismanaged the rent money. Hopefully, there's next year.

Another move happened, as well as mom and brother moving out. Really like the new place, even if storage is a problem.

Stupid garbage strike. I'd like to throw out some stuff, pare down. But I share the house with 11 others. And I think two are moving, and they put out a lot of crap, but left all of it lying around the backyard like it's a shanty town.

Started messing around with the portfolio thingy here. And been playing Evony for about a week and a half. [link]

Did a crazy thing three weeks ago-- a 5k walkathon. In exactly one hour, which is the fastest time I ever did a walkathon ever. Scary, as it took me longer when I was physically able. Dunno how to explain it. Maybe cuz there was someone walking with me the whole 5k this time. Or maybe cuz it wasn't insanely hot (it did rain the whole time). IDK.

And lastly, my allergies are killin' me. Can't breathe through my nose. Grr.

Closing out the year already...

I kinda forgot about doing much of anything on DA. Well, merry Christmas, etc etc.

And I can't think of diddly to put here. Well, I'll post new pix of the cats sometime before I go away.

Final thought: anyone already started pondering about their New Year's resolutions?

I picked up another kitty. Previous owner wasn't home enough to satisfy the neediness. And Sebastian can use a playmate. Pics pending-- maybe tomorrow afternoon or something. Name's Breezy. Likely will change it, but not sure what yet. Sebastian came pre-named. Will field suggestions in the meantime.
